Software built by people who use it themselves
Founded by George Burgess in 2023 and based in South-East England, we're a small, independent studio. George studied Computer Science at King's College London and has worked in software and IT since 2013, most recently leading application development in insurance. We also build free tools of our own, like the UK tax, pay and property calculators and guides on this site, because we'd rather ship something useful than talk about it.
We keep teams small and communication direct — you talk to the person actually writing the code, not an account layer between you and the work. We'd rather scope something honestly and hit it than promise everything and slip the date.
Most of what we build is meant to be used for years, not just launched once. That shapes the decisions we make early: plain, maintainable code over clever tricks, and interfaces that stay usable as the people using them — and their needs — change.
